Flourishing with Indonesian Fabric
Our aim at Fiona Yao is to introduce sustainably made, traditionally crafted Indonesian fabric in our contemporary one-off dresses.
Each of our fabrics are made by utilizing traditional waxing and sun-dried method. To fit the unique fabric, each of our dresses are meticulously handwoven, each designed to uniquely embody the fabric's spirit and represent it in a Fiona Yao fashion.
Drawn and sewn by our partner artisans, the fabrics represents their region's long-standing culture as part of Indonesia. By using these fabrics as part of our craft, we hope to take part in the preservation and cultivation of the culture and the people involved.
